Undergraduate research internship
SIMS is a leading research institute that conducts basic and translational studies in the fields of stem cells, metabolic diseases, and degenerative diseases. We operate an undergraduate internship program to cultivate creative professional researchers in the field of biomedicine, which has emerged as an important industry in the 4th industrial revolution era, by providing various research opportunities for current undergraduate students in the medical and life science fields.Purpose

We intend to cultivate junior talents in the biomedical field by teaching them to understand the experts and the latest research trends,
and by discovering creative ideas as well as implementing them through research activities.
- Diverse research opportunities
and strengthening research capabilities -
For undergraduate students majoring in life sciences, we not only provide in-depth knowledge in basic and translational research related to biomedicine,but also offer our research know-how through various “hands-on” research opportunities. We will help students to apply these, and build their research capabilities.
- Strengthening global research capabilities
Fostering international competitiveness -
Composed of researchers and graduate students from various countries, SIMS operates international education programs. Through the undergraduate internship program, we aim to strengthen students’ global research capabilities and help them develop their international competitiveness.
