Option 1. Airport Bus

Purchase a ticket at one of the ticket booths located next to Gates 4 and 9 inside the arrival floor (1st floor). The bus stop location (Platform 9D) will be printed on the ticket. The trip takes approximately three hours. The earliest bus bound for Cheonan City leaves at 6:30 and the last bus at 19:20. There are two types of airport buses: regular and deluxe. Fare costs are 17,700 won (approx. $18) and 18,700 won (approx. $19), respectively. Regular buses make more stops whereas deluxe buses take shortened routes and make fewer stops.

From Cheonan Bus Terminal, take a taxi to SIMS. The trip takes about 10 minutes. Fare is approximately $5.

NOTE: An airport bus bound for Asan City also departs from the same platform. Please make sure you take the correct bus.

Option 2. KTX

Go to Incheon International Airport subway station and take the subway to Seoul Station. At Seoul Station, purchase a KTX ticket for Cheonan-Asan Station. The trip takes approximately one hour. From Cheonan-Asan Station, take a taxi to SIMS. The trip takes about 20 minutes. Fare is approximately $8.

Option 3. Subway

Go to Incheon International Airport subway station and take the subway to Seoul Station. At Seoul Station, transfer to Subway Line 1, Sinchang Line. Get off at Bong Myeong Station and go to Exit 2. This trip takes approximately three hours. From Bong Myeong Station, walk to SIMS following the map below. This takes about 7-10 minutes.

Option 4. Train

Go to Incheon International Airport subway station and take the subway to Seoul Station. At Seoul Station, purchase a train ticket for Cheonan Station. The trip takes approximately 90 minutes. There are two types of train: Nuriro (electronic train) and regular. From Cheonan Station, take a taxi to SIMS. The trip takes about 8 minutes. Fare is approximately $4.

Option 1. Airport Bus

The Express Bus Cheonan Line leaves every 20 to 30 minutes. From the Bus Terminal, walk to the local bus stop (in front of the terminal) and take any of the following buses: Bus Number 11, 25, 830, 860, 970, 971 980, 981, 982 and 986. Get off at Soonchunhyang Hospital bus stop.

Option 2. Subway

Get on Subway Line 1, Sinchang Line. Get off at Bong Myeong Station and go to Exit 2. Estimated travel time from Seoul to Bong Myeong: 120 minutes; Yeongdeungpo to Bong Myeong: 103 minutes; Suwon to Byeong Myeong: 58 minutes; and Pyeongtaek to Bong Myeong: 22 minutes

Option 3. Train

When taking the KTX, get off at Cheonan-Asan Station. Transfer to Subway Line 1 Asan Station and get off at Bong Myeong Station. When taking the Nuriro (electronic train) or regular train, get off at Cheonan Station. Get to SIMS either by taxi or on foot (approx. 15-20 minutes)
